Bloglovin

There are so many fabulous blogs out there sometimes its hard to keep up!  I have lots of  favorites {here & here} and the way I was keeping up with all those blogs was a program offered by Goodle called Reader.  Well ladies and gentlemen, Google has decided to phase it out which means its time to say goodbye to Reader… and hello to Bloglovin!!  I discovered Bloglovin when the fabulous ladies from A Beautiful Mess mentioned that they had made the switch.

Joining Bloglovin is EASY and a great way to know when there’s a new post to read without having to remember every single blog address that you love.  Once you’ve created an account, just type the web address or blog name into the search function on the site and you are good to go.  Every time you log in to your account, the new posts will show up bold on the sidebar of your page!  You can even create your own categories to organize your blogs, like food goodies, DIY & home, or fashion & photography.  Easy peezy!

So get to it!  Find your favorite blogs out there and load them up! {here’s hoping HSE makes the cut!!}

I think i’m hungry…or at least looking at all these yummy food pictures from my pinterest page are making me hungry!!  Get ready for an extremely random assortment of all things yummy.

I haven’t tried any of these yummy delights yet…but have no fear…they will be happening soon!  Check out my pinterest boards for the original recipes and sources!!  Have you made anything from your pinterest boards lately that was a smashing success? {or possibly a huge failure?}  I’m still working on getting a few more things over to my “done and done” board, the ratio of pinned to actually done is out of control!!

I hope that you know and love the fabulous app that is Instagram, but for those of you that don’t…be prepared to fall in LOVE!!  Instagram is a free photo sharing program that allows you to take a photo, apply a digital filter to it and then share it!  It posts on Instagram but you can also share it on other social media sites like twitter and facebook.  Such a fun way to keep up with and share those fabulous memories!  Trust me you will Love!  You can follow me at hersplitends.

It’s been a crazy week…i can’t believe its already Thursday!!  Work has been nutz…i’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off…nutz…nutz i tell you!  I promise to make up for my lack o’ blogging this week with LOTS of fun and fabulous stuff coming up soon.  But for now please enjoy this fabulous pictures.  It sort of describes exactly how i have felt this week…

Happy Friday!!  So ready for a little weekend relaxation {or craziness…we’ll see how it goes and I’ll report back monday!}  This has been a busy & inspiring week.  Of course as always much of the inspiration comes from none other then…Pinterest!  So here are just a few of my favorite pins.  Did you find anything inspiring this week?  Move anything to your “Done & Done” board?  Get Inspired!!

Chip it good

Chip it….Chip it good.  STOP time and prepare yourself for the coolest little app EVER!  {ok that might be slightly dramatic}…but for this color loving girl the new Chip It button from Sherwin Williams is AmAzInG!

Super simple: follow this link to the Sherwin Williams website and drag the “chip it” button to your toolbar.  Then just use it like you would use the “pin it” button for Pinterest, when you find an image that inspires you {for ANY reason} click the “chip it” button and roll over the image to see the color palette inspiration…if you love it then CHIP IT!  so lovely.  Here are a few of my favorites but stop by the SW site to check out my chips so far.

the Perfect Pin: Challenge

Oh Pinterst…how I love you {duh}.  Such a great place to go for inspiration.  For those who are on Pinterest…if you are anything like me you have WAY more want to do pins then you have already done pins.  I was curious to see how many things I’ve actually done from the thousands of things I’ve pinned, so i created a “Done & Done” board to track my progress.  So far the board has a whopping 34 done pins.  Not bad right…errrr…when you compare to the 2732 pins total…I’d say that’s a pretty bad percentage.  Time to get crafting people!!!

Still obsessing over Pinterest?  It’s hard not to…trust me…I know!!  Today’s Perfect Pin is all about one of my favorite pass times…Crafting.    Taking inexpensive materials and combining them into something fabulous!  Here are a few of the things on my “list to craft” but be sure to check out my “it’s CRAFTING time” board for more inspiration.
